The menu
Creamy, full and elegant white. The 1685 Chardonnay is aged in wood for several months. The combination with the wonderfully fresh citrus fruit, aromas of ripe pineapple, cinnamon and nutmeg makes this wine truly delicious.
Light, fresh and fruity white. A very elegant sparkling wine made according to the traditional African way, Méthode Cap Classique. The Cuvée is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, just like in Champagne.
Full and round red, concentrated, wood tones. The most famous red wine from Boschendal is undoubtedly the 1685 Shiraz. A wonderfully spicy and peppery wine.
About Ron Gastrobar
Ron Blaauw, owner and chef of Ron Gastrobar At Home, started cooking at an early age. When he was 16 years old, he felt that a choice had to be made for the future. This brought him to culinary school: "Eventually it became Amsterdam, which I always had in mind. Away from Hoorn, where I was born and raised. This was it. I discovered that you could make an apple pie from an apple and salmon gravlax. That you could be creative, that you could surprise people, that you could make people happy." Ron is now an exclusive partner and available on SOUS.
