About Restaurant STAR
In March 2019 we opened Gastrobar STER on Jericholaan in Rotterdam Kralingen. The joy was soon there, as Michelin's critical inspectors soon awarded this modern restaurant a Bib Gourmand, a coveted recognition for great value for money. Now, after 4 years, a second STAR shines in Rotterdam-Kralingen. Our fine-dining restaurant, located on the former location of Fred restaurant. The atmosphere remains cool, but we serve more refined dishes, richer ingredients, amuses, varied menus and an enhanced experience.

“Delicious menu! Tasty and easy to prepare. You have to provide a nice ambiance yourself (nice plates, candles, music). If you create this romantic setting it will be a true 'night out'. Of course you have to go into the kitchen yourself to do the minimum of preparation, but it is also nice that you can make these beautiful creations on the plate yourself. Recommended!”

I say Surprise Restaurant Dinner, because that's the ultimate experience I got after I unpacked the box, heated it according to the simple instructions and then enjoyed it with my husband of 48 years. The guy who had delivered it had given me a warm smile and said: enjoy it. ”
