

Noor Restaurant
Marleen (1987) and Jeroen Brouwer (1990) worked as chefs in the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants in the Netherlands and abroad before opening their first restaurant. Marleen worked at De Librije in Zwolle, among other places, and Jeroen at 't Schulten Hues in Zutphen. In 2016, they became the owners of Restaurant & Hotel De Loohoeve in Schoonloo, Drenthe. After receiving awards and a Michelin star, they decided to sell the hotel and focus entirely on their culinary ambitions. In February 2022, they opened Restaurant Noor in the Theresiakapel in Groningen, a cosmopolitan and contemporary restaurant. The gastronomic experience at Restaurant Noor constantly evolves with the seasons and focuses on Dutch products with global techniques and herbs. Characteristic is the use of citrus, fresh acids, vegetables, fish, (sometimes) a little meat, and seasonal fresh products.
