Het menu
Een boterzachte kip in een kruidige, romige saus met fluweelzachte smaak. Het gerecht vindt zijn oorsprong in Amritsar (Noord-India). Volgens de legende maakten de chef-koks daar kip-tikka met grote hoeveelheden boter om trouw te blijven aan hun Punjabi-roots. Maar daar stopten ze niet: ze voegden meer boter toe als garnering en noemden het Butter Chicken (of murgh makhani).
Dal Makhani is een populaire, zeer smakelijke, romige curryschotel op basis van zwarte linzen. Afkomstig uit de regio Punjab in India. Dit smaakvolle gerecht is een combinatie van langzaam gegaarde zwarte linzen, boter en room. Wat samenkomt in een ingedikte curry op basis van tomatensaus, op smaak gebracht met de aromatische kruiden.
Garnalen Korma is een rijk en romig gerecht uit Noord-India. Gemaakt van garnalen die worden gekookt in een romige saus en op smaak gebracht met amandelen, cashewnoten en kruiden. De garnalen geven de korma een unieke smaak die zowel hartig als licht zoet is. De saus voor de Korma wordt gemaakt van room, yoghurt, amandelen, cashewnoten en een mengsel van kruiden. Hierdoor krijgt de Korma haar rijke textuur, geniet ervan!
Mild-pikante en gebakken kikkererwten die worden aangemaakt met komijn.
Indiaas flatbread, heerlijk voor bij de gerechten.
Deze lichte, krokante en kruidige crackertjes zijn perfect om mee te dippen.
Gestoomde basmati rijst met komijn.
Compote van rode ui, serveer dit bij de gerechten om een extra dimensie aan smaak en textuur toe te voegen.
Deze saus van munt en koriander is een van de meest voorkomende sauzen in India. Je kunt het als een dipsaus gebruiken of op het gerecht scheppen voor extra frisheid.
Geniet van de heerlijke gerechten samen met een vleugje zuur van de tamarinde en de zoetheid van dadel in deze tamarinde en dadel chutney. Kortom: een heerlijke dipsaus.
