Over Soenil Bahadoer
Soenil Bahadoer is een 2-Michelin-sterrenchef die bekend staat om zijn gewaagde en vernieuwende benadering van de Surinaamse keuken. Hij heeft een eigen restaurant genaamd De Lindehof in het Nederlandse dorpje Nuenen, waar hij al meerdere jaren 2 Michelin-sterren behoudt. Bahadoer heeft een uitgebreide culinaire achtergrond en heeft in diverse restaurants gewerkt voordat hij zijn eigen restaurant opende. Hij heeft de afgelopen jaren veel erkenning gekregen voor zijn innovatieve gerechten, waarbij hij traditionele Surinaamse smaken combineert met moderne kooktechnieken en ingrediënten. “Delicious menu! Tasty and easy to prepare. You have to provide a nice ambiance yourself (nice plates, candles, music). If you create this romantic setting it will be a true 'night out'. Of course you have to go into the kitchen yourself to do the minimum of preparation, but it is also nice that you can make these beautiful creations on the plate yourself. Recommended!”

I say Surprise Restaurant Dinner, because that's the ultimate experience I got after I unpacked the box, heated it according to the simple instructions and then enjoyed it with my husband of 48 years. The guy who had delivered it had given me a warm smile and said: enjoy it. ”
