Ron Blaauw, owner and head chef of Ron Gastrobar At Home, started cooking at an early age. When he was 16, he realized he had to make a decision about his future. This led him to culinary school: "In the end, I chose Amsterdam, which was always my preference. Away from Hoorn, where I was born and raised. This was it. I discovered that you could make apple pie from an apple and gravlax from salmon. That you could be creative, that you could surprise people, that you could make people happy. Ron is now an exclusive partner and available on sous.
