Verse hummus met olijven, za'atar (een bekende specerij, gebruikt in veel culinaire Midden-Oosterse keukens) en sumac (wijn-gekleurde specerij uit het Midden-Oosten).
Met verse bosui, harissa en pecannoten om het af te maken.
Vers afgebakken in de bakkerij binnen het restaurant NENI in Amsterdam. De pita kan je in principe gedurende het diner continu eten als een zogenoemde ‘palette cleanser’, ofwel het neutraliseert je mond voordat je weer iets nieuws uitprobeert.
Een langzaam voorgegaard champignongerecht waarvan het receptuur afkomstig is uit Jeruzalem. Op een bedje van vers gemaakte hummus, afgetopt met huisgemaakte tahina, licht-pittige mangosaus, een scheutje olijfolie en peterselie.
Een overheerlijke aubergine steak met shakshuka saus.
Fava avocado mix met geroosterde amandelen.
Over NENI
In 2019 opende de restaurantketen NENI haar eerst filiaal in Nederland. Met diverse vestigingen door heel Europa, was nu Amsterdam aan de beurt. De keuken van NENI beroept zich op een eclectische en moderne Oost-Mediterrane kookstijl. De menu’s van het restaurant en de box zijn een combinatie van de culinaire visie van Haya Molcho, de eigenaresse van de NENI restaurantketen, en producten uit de streek waar het restaurant zich bevindt. Hierdoor heeft iedere locatie toch haar eigen karakter.
