Het Spaanse Casalba is een familieonderneming gevestigd in de uitlopers van Sierra de la Demanda ten oosten van het Noord-Spaanse Burgos en tegen de grens van het wijngebied Rioja. Generaties lang zorgt de familie Castro Alba geduldig voor zorgvuldige rijping van hun Iberico hammen.
Producent Shibanuma gebruikt traditionele methodes uit de 17e eeuw voor het produceren van sojasaus. Deze Yakiniku saus is een mix van deze sojasaus, Japanse rijstwijn, appels, ui en sansho. Perfect voor gegrild vlees, vis en groenten. Proef deze eeuwenlange ambacht.
Piment d’Espelette heeft een kenmerkende aroma. Het pepertje heeft een vergelijkbare pittigheid met een jalapeño-peper. De pittige smaak verdwijnt vrij snel en overheerst niet, en gaat prachtig samen met vlees, vis en zelfs met desserts zoals bij verse aardbeien of crème brûlée.
Gevriesdroogde pesto. Het kan worden gebruikt als saus door extra vierge olijfolie toe te voegen, maar kan ook droog gebruikt worden. Het is een veelzijdige en innovatieve smaakmaker om een groot aantal recepten mee te verrijken: uitstekend op caprese, vis en zeevruchten, pasta, pizza en ook heerlijk door salades.
Een mooie ketchup van Alain Milliat met als ingredienten: tomaten uit de Marmande, suiker, rode peper, ui, azijn, laurierbladzout en peper.

Dit Himalayazout uit Pakistan is een steenzout en bevat meer dan 80 mineralen. Dat uit zich in een milde zoute smaak met een subtiele zoetheid.
Siciliaanse Pachino tomaatjes, gedroogd door de De Carlo familie in Puglia, op extra vergine olijfolie.
Kwalitatief hoogstaande olijfolie gemaakt bij de Siciliaanse Fattoria Scirinda met aroma's van gras en hooi. De olie heeft een bijzonder lage zuurgraad en wordt gemaakt van drie olijvenrassen. Je proeft Sicilië en het vakmanschap.
Kleine zilveruitjes ingemaakt in Aceto Balsamico volgens een oud familierecept uit Modena. Cipolla op z'n Italiaans.
Met deze rub met biologische kruiden en specerijen maak je jouw BBQ meesterwerken nu nog lekkerder. De specerijenmix zit vol stoere elementen, waaronder gerookte paprika en knoflook, die wat hitte kunnen hebben.
Over Robert Kranenborg
Robert J.K. Kranenborg (1950) heeft een indrukwekkende staat van dienst in de culinaire wereld. Hij genoot een bevoorrechte opleiding tot ambachtelijk kok, met een focus op zowel de Franse als internationale Nederlandse keuken. Deze opleiding duurde maar liefst 12 jaar. Het onderstreept zijn toewijding en passie voor zijn vak. Na het voltooien van zijn opleiding kreeg Kranenborg in 1977 de leiding over zes restaurants in zowel België als Nederland. Zijn missie was altijd gericht op het behalen van het Michelin-sterrenniveau. En met groot succes. Hij heeft zes Michelin-sterren weten te behalen. Vanaf 2008 koos Kranenborg een nieuwe weg. Hij zette zijn kennis en ervaring in als restaurantconsultant op de meest uiteenlopende gebieden. Opnieuw oogstte hij succes. Ditmaal met vijf restaurants in Nederland en Duitsland die in totaal zes Michelin-sterren verdienden. Kranenborgs culinaire carrière is een inspiratiebron voor velen en zijn prestaties hebben een blijvende stempel gedrukt op de gastronomische wereld.
