Hi! I'm Marcel den Heijer (42), born and raised in Amsterdam, a chef through and through, and an expert in creating culinary dishes. I'm a real bon vivant. I'm known for my friendliness, humor, and professionalism. I turn every dinner or event into a party, and my day is a success when I've created a beautiful, lasting memory for my guests. My culinary passion began in the dishwashing kitchen where I started working at the age of 15. From there, I took courses and progressed in the profession as a chef. I gained my experience at restaurants such as De Kas and As. In my position as sous chef at these wonderful establishments, I learned to cook with simplicity and respect for people, animals, and the environment.
