Over Restaurant Vecera
Restaurant Vecera wordt gerund door Chef "Bas" en gastvrouw/sommellier "Niki". Vecera, wat " dineren" betekent in het Kroatische, verwijst naar de oorsprong van Nikolina, beter bekend al Niki, en speelt in op het idee van " dineren bij Bas & Niki". Hun visie is om een eerlijke en verse keuken te bieden, met ruimte voor culinaire experimenten. De sfeer in het restaurant is ontspannen en open, zodat gasten aangenaam verrast worden. De keuken staat onder leiding van chef-kok Bas, die zijn gasten verwent met verse en creatieve gerechten. Al op jonge leeftijd was Bas gefascineerd door koken. Hij heeft zijn vaardigheden verder ontwikkeld tijdens zijn opleiding en heeft als sous-chef gewerkt in gerenommeerde restaurants, waaronder Fitzgerald. Tegenwoordig hanteert hij een eigen kookstijl, waarin hij de klassieke Franse keuken combineert met moderne Bourgondische invloeden. Hij legt de nadruk op versheid en seizoensgebonden ingrediënten. Voor Bas draait alles om het totaalplaatje en de balans tussen de smaken op het bord. Met Vecera bezorgen wij deze culinaire ervaring nu ook bij jou thuis!
