Over Ron Gastrobar
Ron Blaauw, eigenaar en chef-kok van Ron Gastrobar At Home, begon al vroeg met koken. Toen hij 16 jaar oud was, vond hij dat er toch echt een keuze voor de toekomst gemaakt moest worden. Dit bracht hem tot de koksschool: "Uiteindelijk werd dat Amsterdam, wat ik eigenlijk altijd in mijn hoofd had. Weg uit Hoorn, waar ik geboren en getogen was. Dit was het. Ik ontdekte dat je van een appel een appeltaart kon maken en van zalm gravlax. Dat je creatief kon zijn, dat je mensen kon verrassen, dat je mensen blij kon maken". Of course you have to go into the kitchen yourself to do the minimum of preparation, but it is also nice that you can make these beautiful creations on the plate yourself. Recommended!”

The guy who had delivered it had given me a warm smile and said: enjoy it. ”
