Over Kees Visser Food
Geboren in Zwijndrecht, getogen in Dordrecht. Al snel verhuisd naar het Zeeuwse en geïnfecteerd geraakt met al het moois wat Zeeland te bieden heeft qua producten. Na verschillende sterrenzaken doorlopen te hebben en diverse ervaring opgedaan te hebben in grote, luxe hotels in 2005 voor mezelf begonnen. Na twee jaar waren we in het bezit van de felbegeerde Bib Gourmand van de Michelingids en 13 punten in de Gault & Millau gids. Later in 2013 weer voor mezelf begonnen; restaurant Bij Kees, Michelin gids en 14,5 punt Gault & Millau.Sinds 1 November 2019 Executive chef bij Hotel Mondragon, restaurant Cristo, Zierikzee, inmiddels weer zelfstandige bij Kees Visser Food, zzp chefkok, demo’s, workshops en meer. Na oprichting van CTZ en 3 bronzen medailles verder, ons eigen kookteam opgericht: Culinair Team Schouwen Duiveland. Door CTZ en CTSD en individuele participatie in wedstrijden nog verder verslaafd geraakt aan het wedstrijd-koken. Met als hoogtepunt het winnen van de Nederlandse finale van de Bocuse d'Or in 2021 en daarmee gekwalificeerd voor de Europese finale.
